OurSong—the Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chorus, is deeply saddened by the recent mass shooting in our own hometown that resulted in the deaths of eight innocent victims—six of whom were Asian American women.  We mourn the loss of all of these fellow Atlantans, and extend our deepest condolences to their families and loved ones. 

With our long-time support of the LGBTQ+ community, women, and people of color, OurSong strongly condemns the alarming rise of hate crimes toward the Asian American/Pacific Islander community. 

We ask everyone to join us in fighting racially-motivated hatred and violence of any kind, and to support efforts to end injustices and inequities affecting marginalized communities everywhere.
