There is a certain awe in the beauty of winter. This transcendent beauty reminds us to pause and revel in the majesty of nature, to remember the importance of celebrations, to welcome the enduring reminder of hope, and to cherish the miracle of life and of starting anew. OurSong will ring in the season with a concert of music embracing each of these themes. Join us for an evening of traditional Christmas music as well as music that rejoices in the beauty of winter and our roots with the earth.

In concert “Brilliance”, OurSong will explore both the splendor of our natural world and the beings that create grandeur. From the best in contemporary choral music, our concert will share songs that shimmer from the magnificence of the stars, the moon, and gems. We will also celebrate the resilience and the enduring creativity of our each of us. Our music includes compositions by Dan Forrest, Daniel Elder, Jake Runestad as well Garth Brooks and the latest from the hit movie “The Greatest Showman”. Come share an evening of “Brilliance”.

Please join us for our winter concert surrounding love and the true spirit of Christmas. OurSong will open the season featuring a piece entitled, For the Breath of Ecstasy by Michael Trotta. Exploring the importance and depths of love, this seven movement piece incorporates the beautiful poetry of Sara Teasdale. After OurSong was featured on an episode of Queer Eye, Mama Tammy made a significant impression that love does not judge or exclude. The chorus is proud to participate in the Southeast premier of this work. Additional features include many favorite Christmas carols and a special queer twist on 'Twas the Night Before Christmas'.

The concert includes new virtual choral performances, filmed songs, and musical memories from past OurSong concerts. It’s all about our memories from the past and new memories to make for the future.

A special collection of songs for your enjoyment! In these somewhat gray days of isolation and masks and social distancing, an unexpected moment of joy can lift the spirits—a moment that reminds us of the beauty and brilliance in our world—something like an Amuse-Bouche, a course between courses, something to bring a little joy and amusement to our lives.

Do you miss Broadway? We do! Like most of the performing arts and public venues in general, Broadway has remained sadly shuttered during the ongoing pandemic.

Simply Cabaret is an evening of songs that might have been heard in 2020, including shows that were to open over the course of the year but could not. We want to celebrate those shows and also remind each other of the importance of live theater and the eventual return of in-person performances everywhere!

OurSong presents an evening of treasured holiday tunes direct from Hollywood (or Tinseltown!), the heart of the U.S. film industry. Much of our holiday music
originated from television shows and movies that are re-broadcast every year to celebrate the season.
