FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: OurSong presents “Winter Gifts”
Atlanta GA, October 25, 2021: Although OurSong has continued to perform during the last two years of covid-related restrictions, using the internet as our stage and parking garages and outdoor shelters as our rehearsal space, we are ready to return to live performances! We have greatly missed the joy of singing in person and engaging with a live audience. And our next performance will be even more special as we celebrate our 20th season of making beautiful choral music and representing Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ community.
Please join us for “Winter Gifts” as we revisit some of our favorite holiday pieces from the past 20 years and introduce new selections, including works by Eric Whitacre, André Thomas, Kevin Memley, Elaine Hagenberg, Dan Forrest, and Marianne Forman. The music invokes the joy of gifts, giving and receiving, and the beauty of winter and the holiday season, and will be performed without intermission.
COVID PROTOCOL: We would love for all of our audience members to be vaccinated, although proof of vaccination is not required. We will require all audience members to wear masks, and we will be performing in masks as well. Thank you for understanding and for helping to create a safe performing environment. We are very excited to return to the stage, and to share our music with you in person!
